About Dr. Day

Dr. Day is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and families. She has been a licensed psychologist for 5 years and has been a practicing clinician for 7 years. Her clinical expertise is focused on the assessment and treatment of clinical disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults.

 

Dr. Day obtained her BA at the Bellarmine University. She then went on to earn her Psy.D. from Spalding University, where her graduate studies included specialized training in the treatment of children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Day completed her clinical internship at Child and Adolescent Service Center in Canton, OH. During her clinical internship, Dr. Day's training focused on serving the needs of children and adolescents with a broad spectrum of emotional and behavioral problems. Following her internship, Dr. Day worked in community mental health agencies in rural and under-served areas of both Indiana and Kentucky. 

 

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Day is an adjunct faculty member of the School of Professional Counseling at Lindsey Wilson College, where she teaches a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses. Dr. Day maintains a license to practice psychology in the state of Kentucky. Dr. Day is a member of the Kentucky Psychological Association.

 

Dr. Day is a native Louisvillian. She is married with two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and her pets.
